A gift in your will will enable us to reach more children, empower more communities and reduce poverty for more families across Kampala’s slums.
It’s through the generosity of our supporter community that we have been able to reach over 300,000 vulnerable children and their families with our vital projects. But, we know that the need in Kampala’s slums will continue to grow for generations to come.
According to research conducted by rikolto, by 2050, half of Uganda’s 100 million population will be living in urban areas. The majority of which will be living in absolute poverty in slum communities. Without education, nutritious food and opportunities for work, families and children will remain trapped in an unbreakable cycle of poverty.
