Volunteer in Uganda
Kids Club Kampala's projects are run entirely by local staff, volunteers and members of the community. However, if you have specific skills that you think may be useful to our organisation, we would love you share those skills with us.
Whether you are a Ugandan national or resident, an individual international volunteer or part of a group, please get in touch with us and tell us about who you are and what you could bring to our team. For international volunteers wishing to travel to Uganda we have a policy of taking a minimum group of two volunteers. If you are considering volunteering individually depending on demand we can often pair you up with someone else, however it is always best to apply as a group.
If you are interested in volunteering with us in Uganda, please apply here.
Volunteer in the UK
As a small charity, we rely on the hard work and dedication of a committed team of trustees, volunteers and interns in the UK who work together to help run the organisation. By joining our team as a volunteer or intern, you can guarantee that your input will make a direct and valuable contribution to the lives of many children and communities in Uganda.
We have opportunities to become a Fundraising Ambassador, to volunteer with our fundraising events, and internship and work experience opportunities at our offices in the UK. We have opportunities to work from home from anywhere in the UK, or to work from our head office in Birmingham. If you would like to apply to volunteer in the UK please apply here.
Volunteer in Ireland
Kids Club Kampala is also looking for new Fundraising Ambassadors in the Republic of Ireland. If you are based in the Republic of Ireland and would be interested in volunteering some of your time to support children growing up in the slums of Kampala, please contact us.
Please note that all volunteering positions are subject to an interview process, reference checking, police checking and all volunteers will be required to sign and adhere to Kids Club Kampala’s polices and procedures.
